Altar Rock exists because wealthy clients deserve more than you’re getting today. With over a century of combined wealth management experience, Altar Rock is the realization of the career-long dreams of our cohesive core team who met and worked together variously at Bernstein, Cresset, Fidelity and JP Morgan. Over our careers, we helped drive key innovations. But near-term profit motives often came first, so products and deals were in focus — not client outcomes, let alone the steady pursuit of structural alpha.

Today, Altar Rock offers something new: a wealth manager with a disciplined process built upon research and common sense — to help support your critical lifetime needs, wealth enhancement and transfer objectives, and next-level aspirations. Nikolai builds analytical engines to measure and manage risk. He has managed risk in capital markets, sales & trading, and private equity. He has worked for startups to global investment banks, in Asia, Europe and the US.

John is a multi-asset, multi-horizon, multi-manager strategist who has built 10,000+ bespoke model portfolios since 2011 consistently exceeding goals for asset growth, portfolio results and client satisfaction.
